Jen Hogg, aka Jenerates is a talented sewer and knitter, most notably recognised as an excellent contestant and semi-finalist on The Great British Sewing Bee in 2019. She has since turned her hand to creating a series of tools and sewing accessories for makers.
Running your hand-stitching thread over the wax before you stitch helps to prevent knots, and also makes the thread stronger. Unscrew the lid of these wee pots of loveliness and you'll find a dome of beeswax fixed to an engraved wooden base. The tin stops the beeswax from drying out, and the wooden base makes it easier to handle. And they look so lovely!
