ABOUT Sashiko means "little stabs" in Japanese and refers to a traditional hand-stitching technique used to mend and reinforce clothing with visible, decorative geometric patterns made using various combinations of a running stitch. Traditionally using white embroidery thread on a dark navy cotton fabrics. You can recreate designs using a template or attending a workshop, and introduce colour as you wish.
