ABOUT Knitting for Olive's No Waste Wool is a sustainable yarn, blending together 50% recycled wool with 50% extra-fine, traceable, non-mulesed Merino. The 50% merino wool is Responsible Wool Standard certified and the recycled wool is a waste product from the production of other wool yarn. KFO collect the excess wool fibres, blend it with their merino wool and spin the wool blend into a new yarn. This way they use the wool fibres that would otherwise be wasted, and reduce waste in yarn productions. The 50% merino wool prevents the yarn from breaking easily, which is often the case with pure recycled yarn
