ABOUT
These are a limited edition of 20 mending eggs made in collaboration with The Fundamentalist, gifted wood turner based in Lincolnshire. Each piece is 100% handmade, using wood from sustainable locations that focus on protecting local wildlife and biodiversity.
The shape of these mending eggs make them perfect for smaller holes, such as those left in your wool and cashmere jumpers after the moth larvae have had a nibble. The particular shape, not exactly egg like was designed for you comfortably hold the garment in place and secure with some yarn between the groove to prevent movement while mending. You can also use the groove to store odds and ends of your darning thread.
SIZE Between 5-6 cm tall x 3.5-4.5 cm wide
