ABOUT
Jen Hogg, aka Jenerates is a talented sewer and knitter, most notably recognised as an excellent contestant and semi-finalist on The Great British Sewing Bee in 2019. She has since turned her hand to creating a series of tools and sewing accessories for makers. The Seam Circles are used to add or subtract seam and hem allowances.
Each ruler is made of cherry wood veneer, laser-cut engraved, and waxed in Glasgow. It comes in a brown card gift/storage box to help keep all the pieces together.
HOW TO USE IT:
Each circle has a narrow hole option for a pencil or fine pen, and a wider hole option for a thicker nib on the other side to accommodate most writing implements.
Keep your pencil in the centre hole and roll the outside edge of the circle along the pattern line. Roll along the line you just drew if you need a greater adjustment. The circles can also be used along the edge of a quilting or drafting ruler.
